Get to know the experts behind ACTive Family Physical Therapy
Active Family Physical Therapy is the product of a husband and wife's passion for physical therapy and the desire to bring vitality and wholeness to their community. With over 20 years of combined experience, Kaylee and Mick Janusko founded our practice with a commitment to faith, family, and exceptional patient care. Drawing on our unique talents, together our mission is to uplift and transform the lives of those who wish to encounter us on their journey.
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
-Hebrews 10:24-25

Mick Janusko, PT, DPT, MTC, CSCS
Owner and Performance Physical Therapist
Mick Janusko is a licensed Physical Therapist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach. He grew up in Pittsburgh, PA before relocating to Tampa where he received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tampa in Pre-Allied Health. Not long after completing his undergrad degree, he moved to Saint Augustine where he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2014) and his Manual Therapist Certification (2016) from the University of Saint Augustine.
His Journey toward becoming a physical therapist began after a knee injury his junior year of high school. This injury prevented him from reaching his dream of becoming a collegian athlete. Mick grew up playing all sports but especially loved basketball. He also pole vaulted and played soccer throughout high school. His time in therapy led him down his current path in the performance world.
Mick has been practicing for 10 years at this point with a few stops along the way. He began his career working in Kingsland, GA for Advance Rehabilitation where he eventually became the Director of Sports Medicine and Performance. Knowing the limitations with insurance based therapy, Mick has spent the last 3 years in a Cash Therapy setting which has allowed him to treat patients the way they deserve to be treated. All sessions one-on-one and highly individualized.
Since meeting Kaylee in Physical Therapy school, he has always had a dream to open a clinic with her instilling the values they carry in their personal lives and marriage. ACTive Family is a dream come true for Mick and he is excited to share his passion for his family and therapy with his patients. Mick enjoys spending his free time outdoors with Kaylee, their two daughters and their lab, Dallas.
